My story begins with teaching physical education where I learned how to engage large groups of students in movement and integrate core academic subject. This lead to an unique experience working and collaborating with NewTech educators. Yet, my adventures did not stop there. My next educational journey incorporated working with 1st generation students and multilingual learners 9-12th grade. My passion for movement soon transition into building literacy in the classroom by overseeing the ALD program 9-12th grade. I am excited about the possibilities of integrating my teaching experiences, passion for books and writing with my Masters of Emancipatory Leadership to put theory into practice.
