Finding Inspiration Through Reading & Story-Telling

Over the many places and spaces I have worked I am grateful for all the moments and stories shared.

MY STORY

My story begins with teaching physical education where I learned how to engage large groups of students in movement and integrate core academic subjects. This led to an unique experience working and collaborating with NewTech educators. Yet, my adventures did not stop there. My next educational journey incorporated working with 1st generation students and multilingual learners 9-12th grade to improve literacy and/or apply to college. My passion for movement soon transitioned into building literacy in the classroom by overseeing the ALD program 9th-12th grade. I am excited about the possibilities of integrating my teaching experiences, passion for books and writing with my Masters of Emancipatory Leadership to put theory into practice.
